This is a pre-main amplifier with a built-in headphone amplifier, a high-end model of the company, equipped with two Class D power amplifiers "MP7770" manufactured by the US semiconductor manufacturer MPS (Monolithic Power Systems).

The MP7770 employs a unique AAM (Analog Adaptive Modulation) method, where the carrier frequency is variable and gain can also be adjusted, instead of the general PWM method. This has the advantage of directly responding to changes in the input signal because the clock is not fixed, maximizing the control bandwidth and minimizing the response time.

By equipping the MP7770 in a dual configuration, it achieves a speaker output of 60W + 60W (4Ω) despite its small size. Channel separation is also improved, and the company claims that you can "enjoy the speed and transparency of Hi-Fi Digital Audio with clear sound quality while having the characteristics of an A/B amplifier."

For the electronic volume, the TI "PGA2311" for high-end audio is installed independently for LR. The "Smoothing-Volume" technology eliminates sudden changes in volume and gang errors that often occur with analog volume, achieving excellent sound quality and sound fidelity. In addition, pop noise during power on/off is also reduced by microcomputer control.

Supported speaker impedance is 4-8Ω. Speaker frequency characteristics are 10-20kHz (-0.5d/8Ω load), and speaker total harmonic distortion is 0.03% or less (2W/8Ω). Supported headphone impedance is 16-200Ω, headphone frequency characteristics are 10-40kHz (-0.5dB/16Ω), and headphone total harmonic distortion is 0.01% or less (50mW/32Ω).
